The ARGILUS PROTECTIVE FILM made of oiled kraft paper prevents a lot of humidity rising from the sub-soil whilst still allowing it to breathe. It is applied directly to the hard core layer of gravel that has been put in place as the base for the ARGILUS CONCRETE.

It is essential to make sure that you put a covering (minimum 10 cm) in place between each row of film. If necessary it can be taped together in advance. You must take great care not to pierce the film before the clay concrete is applied.
